By scheduling through this process, we are able to ensure that your pet has all the shots and vaccinations required to board at our facility. It also enables us to be fully prepared for your pet's current level of health or conditions so that we can give them the attention they need and deserve.
There are four levels of boarding that we offer at AHSC: normal boarding, minor medical boarding, major medical boarding, and hospitalization. Our doctors work with the veterinarians at our affiliate clinics to determine which type of boarding is necessary for your pet. Prices for normal and medical boarding are listed below (hospitalization charges are assessed on a case-by-case basis). Also please note that prices are subject to change without notice.
Major Medical Boarding (3 or more medications) Under 40 lb: $50.25 per day 40-75 lb: $51.30 per day Over 75 lb: $55.80 per day
Minor Medical Boarding (2 or less medications) Under 40 lb: $33.25 per day 40-75 lb: $36.60 per day Over 75 lb: $39.95 per day
Regular Boarding (No medications) Under 40 lb: $22.95 per day 40-75 lb: $24.05 per day Over 75 lb: $31.15 per day
Please note: Once a day vitamins or supplements that do not require a technician to administer are not considered medication.
Potential Additional Fees
Aggressive Behavior Fee $17.00 per day add-on For the safety of both pets and hospital ward attendants, behaviors such as nipping, growling, lunging, rambunctious jumping, etc. require additional time and staff.
Isolation Fee $53.30 per day add-on Any pet not current on all vaccinations and puppies or pets that exhibit any sign of upper respiratory disease will be placed in isolation and assessed this fee.
Out of Hours Pick-up/Drop-off $28.55 added to final bill For pets being picked up or dropped off before 6:00am or after 11:00pm.
